Independent Living Units
Independence With Peace Of Mind
For the freedom of remaining at home with the care and support of hostel living, consider Amaroo's Self Care Units.
Located next to Amaroo Hostel on the sprawling Davis Street grounds, these units form part of the Berrigan and District Aged Care Association's community aged care program.
Ideal for couples and individuals, each spacious standalone unit has been thoughtfully designed for the aged and features two bedrooms, its own garage and lush garden surrounds maintained by the association.
And, conveniently close by, Amaroo Hostel can provide meals, care and support whenever needed.
Becoming A Self Care Unit Resident
Self Care Unit residents pay a monthly rental that's indexed to the aged pension, as well as an initial bond. Meals and other bills, including power and phone, are personal expenses also paid by the resident.
If you are interested in a Self Care Unit for yourself or a loved one, we're happy to discuss the financial costs with you to help make your decision.
